*NEW* Electronic Legionella Compliance Management System

Site Datum^® is an electronic Legionella control service that enables clients to plan, manage and view their compliance with Approved Code of Practice (L8) and the Health and Saftey at Work etc Act 1974.

It does this using a combination of remote mobile handheld computers, emailed inspections and the Site Datum^® secure website.

Easier Log Book Management:

All periodic tasks associated with the Log Book whether weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annually or annually can be managed and the system looks to create a 'compliance network' involving all of the following people:

• Field-based Technicians - The service supports an unlimited number of handheld computers; either mobile PDA's or rugged industrial barcode scanners, which are used by Inspectors to manage and record details of Legionella control inspections in the field.
• Local Building Managers - The handhelds are then synchronised to a central server from any location using the mobile phone network for complete remote access. No other PCs or networks are required and there is no connection to your existing networks as the handheld can connect from anywhere at any time.
• Office Staff - The system has an email-based option, enabling non-specialist staff to conduct and record simple tasks such as flushing or temperature recording and to record these results via a user-friendly website.
• Responsible Person - Kept informed with detailed email reports of compliance and non-conformance if and when required. Provides peace-of-mind that all tasks and remedial works associated with conforming to L8 is being undertaken.

 

 

Online Document Viewing and Management:

Authorised users are able to view, print and email, via a secure website, the operational status of inspections, their locations and carry out the following:

• View key documents relating to Legionella such as:
  • Water Risk Assessments
  • Audit reports
  • Site drawings
  • Schematic layouts
  • Operating manuals
  • Policies and procedures
• Create detailed operational reports including outstanding remedial tasks
• Produce compliance reports specific to any area of your site highlighting problem areas
• Plan the number and type of inspections and manage the destination of the work load
• Create an audit trail of tasks completed and who by
• Manage direct staff and sub-contracted service providers
• Provide operational and compliance transparency
